Nassau is the commercial center, capital and largest city of common wealth of Bahamas. It is situated in the island of New Providence, which works much like a business district. It is a popular destination among tourists hence it is well connected from all over the world. It is a very attractive place which gives beautiful blend of old world and colonial architecture. The tropical climate of city and natural scenery of this place makes it popular among tourist.
Every year we spend our summer vacations on some or other destination .This year as the summer vacation commenced we started planning for the trip. After a long session of discussion and suggestion we all agreed on the name of Nassau. We heard a lot about this place and eager to visit this city as soon as possible. Almost all the formalities were completed by us but the main task was still remains and that was buying airlines tickets. We had a family of five members and the trip budget was set aside by me in advance. It was decided to complete the entire trip within this budget line so I was in favor of buying cheap airfares tickets. I had searched about all airfare deals and compared them well. Through airport I collect the list of best flights to Nassau like Air France and collect their fare and facility details. I must say, it was a very difficult and time consuming task; I hired a travel agent for this. He informed me that during the peak season time few leading airlines ply cheap flights to Nassau, I searched the details of these airlines and finally able to buy cheap tickets to Nassau from one leading airline.
At last, we reached to this heavenly destination. At that time the inhabitants of city enjoys the main festival of their country that was Junkanoo. When we reached the airport, we could feel the importance of the festival as there was a huge crowd of tourists. The day we reached we also attend and enjoy this festival. People dressed in a colorful dress and were busy in dancing on street with the cowbells, drums and whistles. It was a very energetic and color full festival and we enjoyed a lot.
The very next day we hired a guide who took us to prominent places of Nassau. During the trip we visits to Old town, parliament building, Ardastra Garden, Zoo and conversation center and in the end of day we had dinner in a famous restaurant of city and enjoys the local dishes. On the third day of trip we move to some more beautiful places of city and in the end of day we had shopping. It was a marvelous trip and we wishes to visit this place again.
