Amsterdam is the capital and largest city of Netherlands. The city is situated in the region of North Holland in the west side of the country. The name of city derived from the Amstelredamme, analytically the city’s origin: a dam in the river Amstel. In the late of 12th century, the city was established as a small fishing village. During the Dutch golden age, the city becomes one of the most significant seaports in the world. During this period, the city was enjoying the leading position in finance and diamond sector. In 17th century, the canals of this city: situated in its heart of the city, were added to the list of UNESCO world’s heritage.
The very last year, we had visited this marvelous destination. As the summer vacations commenced, we started planning for our holidays and trip. All of us suggest different places for this trip, but I was in favor of this place. As I have heard a lot this place through a friend who recently visit Amsterdam. He depicts the beauty of this city, and this motivates me to plan my trip to this destination. With a bit of hard work, I was finally able to convince my other family members for this destination for vacation.

The city gives plenty of places to visit. We had made a list of all prominent places. The first day we visited many popular museums and parks of the city like Anne Frank House, van Gogh Museums, Vondelpark, and Hortus Botanies etc. Next day we enjoyed all the adventures activities given by the city. That was the most wonderful part of our whole trip, and we had a great fun there. I would love to visit this city again whenever opportunity arises.
